anni 50
P.49CM, L.192, H. 91 cm
Elegant and unusual handcrafted 50s Sideboard, completely restored and revisited.
After cleaning and subsequent waxing, the shelf was covered with the original glass.
The two side doors, carved to create Capitonè motifs, have crystal knobs and have been reconsidered in colour. Subsequently, as with the entire piece of furniture, they were finished with wax. The same color treatment was performed on the legs of the furniture and on the central edge frame.
The "rouge" that frames the entire piece of furniture and the underlying motif that partially covers the legs were lacquered and subsequently protected with a satin finish.
The open central space, covered with the original mirror mosaic typical of those years, features the authentic glass shelf.
The locks were replaced as they were irrecoverable, while the typical brass shoes (feet) were cleaned and polished.
