Description
This is a modernist sculptural vase in Italian art ceramic designed by Roberto Rigon for the renowned Bertoncello Ceramiche d'Arte factory in the 70s.
It features the iconic enamel characterized by a beige/cream base with rough undertones, dark veins and a reddish-brown craquelure effect typical of the brand's vintage creations.
The parallelepiped shape is embellished with three characteristic staggered concentric circular openings, which create plays of light and voids typical of the brutalist and modernist currents of mid-century Italy.
Very good condition as shown in the photos.
It has no chips or cracks.
It has two long marks visible in the photo on the sides (the mark cannot be felt by touch).
It also has a small green spot.
Measurements: height 26 cm – length 13 cm – width 9 cm
