Description

Among its most interesting novelties, Lustri offers this pair of stackable Castiglia dining chairs in the rare version covered in woven wicker in both the backrest and seat.

The agile chromed tubular structure and the woven wicker covering create a pleasant contrast linked to the same consistency of the materials used (glossy and matt) and their divergent colors (warm and cold) giving the whole a contemporary, fresh and elegant taste suitable to be placed in different environments.

The design of the “Castiglia” seat was created based on a project by Achille Castiglioni and Marcello Miniale for the Lombard company Zanotta in the 60s and is now out of production.

Thanks to the collaboration with some of the most illustrious contemporary masters, many of the furnishings offered on the market by Zanotta are now part of the history of Italian design and enrich some of the most important international museums. Just think of the iconic Sacco armchair by Gatti-Paolini-Teodoro, often listed among the objects that changed the history of design.

The chairs are in excellent original condition, any traces of wear are due to age.
