The project aims to protect the artist's work and at the same time make the splendid drawings that Bucci created during the 1920s and 1930s during his travels in Italy, Europe, the Middle East and the East public, usable and purchasable by the public.
This first volume collects a series of four albums with drawings made between October 1928 and February 1930, a period in which we know Bucci lived between Paris and Milan in a not very clear "French-Milanese amphibious life" (according to a curious definition by Ugo Nebbia from 1930).
There are animals, projects for the steamship California, for which he designed and created the interiors (together with those for two other ships, Timavo and Duchessa d'Aosta), some beautiful paintings taken at La Scala and dedicated to the representations of the Tannhauser and the Girl of the West, but above all splendid female nudes.
The sketch for the work "Funerals of an anarchist", created in Rome in 1919 with clear futurist intentions, is also published for the first time.
The framed works are offered at €1.500,00 each, accompanied by the volume that contains them and wonderfully documents the genesis of the Maestro's creative moment.
