Antique offertory box in solid walnut. Dating back to the second half of the 19th century, this wooden box was used to collect the offerings of the faithful, probably placed in front of an altar or under some sacred image.
Its simple construction, albeit with fine wood, places it as a commission from some minor parish.
The object is in a preserved condition, it has never been restored, inside there are signs of paper that had been glued as a lining, all as shown in the photos which are an integral part of the description of the object.
The lock is present but the key is missing so I don't know if it works or not.
measures:
Height 9,5 cm
Width 19 cm
Depth 13cm
