Italian painting from the 1498th century. Oil on canvas work, recently restored, depicting a painting from the Brescia school, Madonna with child and St. John the Baptist of excellent pictorial quality. Painting of beautiful size and proportion adorned with a wooden stick on the edge placed during the restoration phase. Painting inspired by the masterpiece of Alessandro Bonvicino known as Moretto (1554-59) The Holy Family of the Carrara Academy. Work that develops horizontally, very well painted clothes and delicate faces of the characters. As we have already indicated, the work has undergone a conservative restoration, repainting of the color in small spots, relining and replacement of the frame (see photo). It is in good condition.
