Historical notes: The term Victorian period refers to the reign of the great Queen Victoria, who ruled England from 1837 to 1901: a period of great changes and better living conditions, these seventy years were also characterized by greater rigor in every aspect of life, including furnishings.
Thus was born the Victorian style, original and inimitable, which became the English style par excellence, distinctive of the new bourgeois class.
