The armchair model Diplomat was originally designed by Finn Juhl to furnish numerous Danish embassies and consulates around the world. The pieces are made of solid rosewood with spring seats, detailing, and joinery and feature new black fabric upholstery. Each piece is signed by the maker and labeled with a metal disc. The armchair have undergone a comprehensive carpentry and upholstery renovation, they were made of rosewood wood, cleaned of the old coating, finished with Danish Rustins oil. The foams have been replaced and covered in new black natural leather.
