CACCIAPUOTI GUIDO, Eagle, large hand-decorated ceramic sculpture from the 30s

Signed sculpture by Guido Cacciapuoti (1892 – 1953) depicting an eagle, refined work made of glazed ceramic and hand-decorated in polychrome resting on a large white and jagged base to simulate the rock, manufacture from the 30s.

On the surface of the base (clearly visible in one of the photographs on display) the artist's signature “G.Cacciapuoti” and the words “Made in Italy” are engraved in italics.

Under the base there is the original paper label of the manufacturer.
