Antique Napoleon III inkwell with integrated clock in gilded bronze and onyx. France, 19th century.

Antique inkwell with integrated clock made of gilded bronze and onyx belonging to the Napoleon III period of the second half of the nineteenth century.

The supporting structure is made of onyx resting on bronze cushion feet surmounted by an amphora with a clock in the centre.

On the sides of the clock there are two lions with their front paws raised while with the other paw they hold a parchment.

Conditions: Good condition.

Provenance: 19th century France.
