BIOGRAPHY: (Livorno 1897 – 1981) One of the main representatives of the Livorno and Tuscan painting of the 900th century was defined as the painter of the countryside, a recurring theme in Giovanni Fattori and in the entire Macchiaioli movement. Tuscany and in particular the Maremma, Livorno and the corners of the Island of Elba were the subjects of inspiration for important works, simple in theme but of high artistic elevation.
