This beautiful chest in solid walnut, the work of a carver of Lombard origin, shows a front with a single panel which, in the central part, is embellished with the shape of the noble coat of arms of the client family; the coat of arms features an oblique band with four spheres imprinted, accompanied by two stars, one at the top and one at the bottom.
The panel is finally completed, at its ends, by a pair of six-point half rosettes.
The body of the chest rests on a base with a richly carved, thick pod.
The case is complete with original lock and hinges.
Very good state of conservation. cleaning and polishing was carried out.
The piece of furniture, like all our objects, is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
