We present this rare and valuable antique Italian bedside table dating back to the early 18th century. Crafted from solid walnut, it features a decorative paneled front. Its design is typical of Tuscan furniture. It may appear to have drawers, but this is an illusion, as it has a door and a practical internal compartment with a shelf. Note that it likely originally had drawers, which were converted into a door over the centuries for practicality. The striking pendant handles on the front are in chiseled bronze and have acquired a beautiful antique patina. The interior lining paper may show signs of wear. Price negotiable.
