Antique Louis XVI Lombard chest of drawers in precious exotic woods dating back to the second half of the 18th century.
The piece of furniture has a rectangular shape set on four tapered truncated pyramid legs typical of neoclassical taste.
The front features an upper drawer with floral inlay and scroll motifs centered by a small reserve in fine wood.
The door below is decorated with a large circular inlaid medallion depicting a winged mythological figure in a natural landscape surrounded by geometric frames with plant motifs.
The sides and top are also inlaid with figurative scenes and floral decorations, a sign of high-quality cabinetmaking intended for a piece of furniture that is not only functional but also representative.
General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
