A wall console table entirely carved in gilded wood, with a contemporary polychrome marble top featuring a yellow ochre background with black and gray veining. The structure rests on a single central foot in the shape of a winged herm, which supports the broad lower section of the top with outstretched arms. The figurative motif, attributable to the designs of Giovanni Battista Foggini, sculptor and architect to the Medici court, features scrolls and foliage in a fully Baroque style. The lower section features arched openings on both sides. The base is shaped like a mixtilinear plan. The marble top, crescent-shaped with rounded edges, features a particularly decorative radial grain.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Wear to the gilding consistent with age and use. Small localized losses.
