Late eighteenth century.

Stunning Louis XVI half-moon console table, from the late 18th century, expresses the typical elegance of the neoclassical style, a work of great Neapolitan cabinetmaking.
The structure, in finely carved and lacquered wood, features fluted and tapered legs that stand out for their linearity and harmonious proportion. The top, in white statuary marble, with a characteristic semicircular shape, is carefully finished and enhanced by a decorative edge that recalls classical motifs. The frieze under the top is enriched with sculpted rosette details and geometric motifs, distinctive elements of the Louis XVI style, which enhance the symmetry and refinement of the entire piece. The patinated finish, in a light shade, gives the console a timeless charm, making it ideal for both classic environments and for interiors with a more contemporary taste in search of a touch of history.
