1800
22,5x13,5cm
Pair of beautiful cups in patinated bronze and white Carrara marble, dating back to the first half of the 1800th century, original in every part and in excellent condition. The base and support have no chipping, the bronze chalice on the outside is entirely worked in bas-relief. The internal part appears smooth, this suggests that in the past they could have been used as perfume burners. Between the base and the marble body there is a bronze rim with a bas-relief of acanthus leaves, typical of the Empire period. The various parts of the cups are joined and supported together by a single screw, therefore removable. Height 22,5 cm, base diameter 13,5 cm.
