Pair of six-light torch-holder sculptures in patinated, burnished and partially gilded metal. France, late 19th century. Parts of the pedestals are made of black marble, with gold graffito decorations. The figure in the photo on the left represents the allegory of Music, while the one on the right represents the allegory of Sculpture. The candlesticks are completely removable and, on one of the gilded elements that form the base, bear the signature of the artist (unidentified), as well as the theme of the subject depicted. Excellent state of conservation.
