Description

Important pair of neoclassical chests of drawers from the second half of the 18th century and from Lombardy, of great "Maggiolini" cabinet making.

Veneered in rosewood and with inlays in various exotic woods. Green Alpine marble slab. Truncated pyramidal leg. Interior of the drawers in walnut. The furniture is threaded on the sides while on the front with the "mirror" drawers in addition to the threads they carry a basket of flowers, a custom of the master's son Giuseppe Maggiolini. Carlo Francesco (1758/1834) known as a collaborator and heir to his father's workshop.
