This pair of Venetian mirrors, dating back to the early twentieth century, is made of hand-worked glass, typical of the Murano tradition. The mirrors have a contoured shape with frames decorated with three-dimensional floral motifs in transparent glass, worked in a torchon style.
The central part consists of mirrors engraved with stylized figures: one depicts a gentleman with a hat and cane, while the other a lady in elegant dress. Both figures are placed on decorative engraved pedestals. The surface of the mirrors is embellished with an internal frame with engraved leaf motifs.
Each mirror includes two tealight holder arms, also in worked glass, that extend outwards. These arms end in carefully shaped candle holders, also in clear glass. The tealight holders retain their original charm, with a look that recalls period lighting.
This is a fine example of Venetian craftsmanship, combining functionality and decoration, perfect for enriching classic or historically inspired environments.
