note: Rare pair of armchairs from the 40s marked “La riposante” produced by the Meroni and Fossati company of Lissone, published in the book “il mobile decò italiano”. The armchairs are in solid mahogany, lacquered black polished with shellac, they have just been restored, the padding is new just redone and the main cushion can be removed as can be seen in the photos. Perfectly usable, they remain a delicate object with a beautiful, modern but light line.
