Pair of carved and gilded wooden mirrors in Rococo style and period. Bologna, mid-18th century. Original mercury mirrors, contemporary and in excellent condition, although showing signs of oxidation. Good state of conservation. Small restorations and minimal retouching of the gilding, compatible with the period to which the mirrors belong. The basic wood essence is poplar. On the back of each of the small mirrors appear the block letters "SZ", probably the initials of the name of the ancient client.
Provenance: Ferrara, Private Collection.
