This fine bronze sculpture with a burnished patina is signed by Denise Delavigne, a French sculptor born at the end of the 19th century. The work is entitled “Cupid Bound” because it depicts Cupid with his hands crossed and tied behind his back and his quiver resting on a log to the side. The sculpture bears the signature on the base. It has its original patina with some scratches.
