18th century
110X85 cm
This important eighteenth-century painting can be referred to the exquisite production of the Neapolitan school of the first half of the eighteenth century.
The splendid workmanship and the refined colours, evidently of the highest level, suggest the attribution to a very talented author operating in Naples in the first half of the eighteenth century.
The scene takes place entirely in the foreground, where you can see a bare-breasted woman irradiated by the scorching sun and surrounded by seasonal fruits.
To his left, a child with a joyful face carries a bunch of ears of corn on his shoulders.
