Catherine's status as the bride of Jesus is evidenced by the sumptuous dress, with enormous puffed sleeves, and the magnificence of the jewels worn, including a complex hairstyle, a string of pearls with a ruby ​​pendant and drop pearl earrings.
An angel witnesses the scene with a penetrating frontal portrait, with an expressive use of his hands.
