Ancient oil painting on canvas depicting the portrait of a noblewoman with a contemporary gilded wooden frame.
It portrays a woman of high social standing, dressed in a brightly colored dress such as red and blue, and immortalized in three-quarter view, with her gaze directed at the viewer and her breasts out.
With her left hand she holds a mask, while with the other she raises the veil with a sensual attitude.
Note the careful rendering of the facial features, the attention to the nuances of the complexion, the sharpness of the contours underlined by the light.
