Round cigarette holder in enamelled porcelain with decorations from the “Giornali” series, Fornasetti Milano production from the 50s and 60s.

Of these objects decorated with the subjects of the "Newspapers" series, Fornasetti created various objects such as tray ashtrays, jars and pencil holder glasses, hat-shaped and pony-shaped paperweights, medium-sized sheet ashtrays and elongated sheet ashtrays and so on, all having the underlying leitmotif the reproduction of a newspaper.
The object proposed here, with a simple and linear formal conformation, is characterized by the reproduction of the headline of "Il Giorno", a historic Milanese newspaper founded in 1956.
In excellent condition.
