XX century
26,2 cm diameter
Three decorated porcelain plates from the “Tema e Variazioni” series designed by Fornasetti, Milan.
On the back the “Fornasetti Milano – Made in Italy” brand.
Dimensions: Diameter 26,2 cm
In the group displayed there are plate n.286, plate n.10 and finally plate n.78.
The dishes belong to the famous "Theme and Variations" series focused on the constant evolution of iconic and enigmatic themes with the figure of the soprano Lina Cavalieri as their backdrop. The motifs reproduced for this series have been the inspiration for infinite interpretations, incessantly renewed and also reproduced on other everyday objects. The tradition continues today thanks to Barnaba, the artist's son, who continues to increase the collection with ever new variations.
These plates, of which we have many other pieces in the shop, are real collector's items that lend themselves both to being displayed individually and to creating infinite compositions with the other plates in the series. Thanks to the presence of two holes on the back they can be used as an ornamental motif on the wall. They can also be sold individually.
Packaging and transport will be carried out professionally, we ship all over the world. Estimated shipping time is generally 1 to 7 business days.
Other photos will be sent upon request.
The object is available at our shop located in Turin in via Monte di Pietà 23/ì, open regularly 6 days a week.
