Anni '70

70s coffee table by French designer Francois Monet consisting of a silver-colored brushed stainless steel frame topped with a glass shelf attached to the structure by metal clips.

The steel is bonded to the glass not only through the aforementioned clips but also through an indentation on the short sides which almost seems to embrace the thickness of the glass plate. Another glass top fits into the metal structure, increasing the functional support space on the main upper floor. The main connotation of glass, namely transparency, is not accidental in the economy of the object as it allows you to appreciate the extraordinary brightness of brushed steel. In the choice of materials the designer therefore demonstrated fine aesthetic refinement by skilfully combining the visual properties of the two materials used.
The design is visually light, intangible, almost inconsistent due to both the thin thicknesses of the steel and glass and the transparency of the glass itself. This characteristic makes it flexible from a spatial point of view and therefore adaptable in different combinations without significantly impacting your environment.
Finally, the beautiful proportions of the design further enhance this design object as the height is exactly half the length.
In excellent condition.
