Early 15th century
Measurements: 31 x 18 cm
Gilded bronze pyx of German origin and dating back to the early 15th century.
It has a relatively compressed spherical body, equipped with hinges that allow it to be opened.
Above it there is a conical-shaped vertex and the remains of the lower arm of a cross, which probably surmounted the work, can also be seen.
To support the upper structure, we have a cylindrical stem, which in turn has a spherical lobe halfway up its height.
Finally, there is the polylobed hexagonal base, supported by three lions.
Numerous traces of gilding are still clearly visible, and the structural conservation conditions are excellent.
