On the back of the painting you can read the inscription: “GIOVANNI DI SINIGAGLIA PAINTED. HE WAS A EASY AND SPIRITUAL PAINTER WHO WORKED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XNUMXTH CENTURY. GUGLIELMO GELLI DI FANO FODERO' IN XNUMX”. Excellent state of conservation. We thank Prof. M. Pulini for having orally confirmed the paternity of the work to Anastasi.
