Monumental wall bookcase with adjustable position elements in rosewood, brass handles and supports and embellished with a monochrome painting signed by the painter Ferruccio Formenton (1895 – ?), created in the 50s by the La Permanente Mobili Cantù furniture factory.

The structure of the furniture is tripartite divided by uprights that reach more than two meters in height from the ground culminating with elegant golden brass elements. Each of the three compartments is punctuated by the presence of three long adjustable shelves that can be positioned at different heights. Below there is an area with doors concealing inside them a compartment with a shelf in the middle.
The great construction quality distinguishes this large bookcase, the result of the recognized professionalism of the members of the La Permanente Mobili consortium, founded mainly on the imitation of styles of the past initially and which then, around the 30s, pushes itself to compare and renew itself thanks to important projects formally very different from those created up until then. Experiences and knowledge that have contributed to the success of Cantù furniture throughout the world.
