Lino Berzoini 1893- 1971 Painter, sculptor, ceramist. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, he began his career at the Lenci factory in Turin. In the meantime, he became interested in and participated in the Turin Futurist Group, where he met Tullio Mazzotti. Having moved to Albenga, he worked first at SPICA and then with the Mazzotti family's MGA until 1939.
The ceramic figurine, cast and hand-painted, embodies the experience and style of all three ceramic manufacturers.
The Italian colonial period of the 30s was in fact inspired by the customs and traditions of the newly conquered colonies, drawing inspiration from the exotic beauty of young girls and children.
As shown in the photo, the back of the base has a chip, the rest is intact.
