77 x 61,5cm
Lot of 4 large Napoleonic era frames. Coming from France and dating back to around 1850 – 1870, they are made of black lacquered walnut.
They are adorned with a small profile decorated with palmettes and gilded with bole.
3 frames still have the original glass, blown and pulled by hand, distinguishable by the surface undulations and small air occlusions that testify to their originality even if unfortunately these small details cannot be seen in the photos.
The frames are large in size:
External 77 x 61,5 cm
Interior 51 x 66 cm
They are sold as seen in the photos, in a preserved state, they have never been restored and are completely original.
They contain contemporary hand-painted engravings as shown in the photo.
