Rare cabin travel trunk by Louis Vuitton, dating to the early part of the 20th century (circa 1910/1920). It is crafted in the famous 'Vuittonite' canvas, with chocolate leather trim and handles. Louis Vuitton main lock reinforced with two complementary trunk latches. The interior is lined in beige canvas and the inner lid is studded. The trunks shows its original Louis Vuitton tag inside. This is a part of Louis Vuitton history, ideal for home or office decor. Condition Rating: B – VERY GOOD Condition Details: The original orange color has turned to yellow with the effect of time and light. Many signs of darkness and scratches allover. Metal trim shows many cracks and came off in some points. Some green marks on metal parts. Leather trim has darkened and shows some cracks. Keys are missing. The interior shows some darkness and a hole on the lining, on the reverse of the lid. The interior tray is missing. Its general condition is very good, considering its age.
