Description

This unique piece of furniture was designed by an architect and crafted by a craftsman in the 60s.

It is a kitchen pantry cabinet that can also function as a bar cabinet.

The structure can be closed like a wardrobe.

The two side sections with shelves fold inward like wardrobe doors, allowing the interior to be completely hidden.

The central section features a tall compartment with a drop-down door. The compartment also houses a yellow bottle holder.

On the upper part there is a shelf, with a visible yellow profile, which can be extracted.

The small shelves with colored compartments (in this case red) were originally designed to store food or other items based on the use of the furniture, some of which are also removable.

Between the two central compartments is a series of wooden drawers with yellow-colored fronts featuring an integrated circular hole, which acts as a geometric and minimalist handle.

The storage compartment under the drawers is closed by two doors.

The cabinet is equipped with wheels for movement.

When closed, you can see that the two doors are characterised by a front covering with a canvas featuring an autumnal floral and botanical motif of the period.

The piece of furniture is made entirely of enamelled wood.

Closed dimensions: length 80 cm – depth 47 cm – height 122 cm.

Open dimensions: length 160 cm – depth 31 cm – height 122 cm.

Good state of conservation and integrity.

Everything is mechanically functional.

The only structural flaw is that one door doesn't close perfectly but remains slightly open (the hinge probably needs adjusting).

It has some light wear on the outside and has an overall age patina.
