Starting from the 50 years vintage tables have undergone significant changes, right now designers let their imaginations run wild to create timeless furniture that adapts to every decor style. In the late 1940s and first two years of the 1950s, designer Charles Eames took the lead, designing two truly exceptional Bauhaus-style coffee tables. In both cases these are living room dining tables elegant and luxurious, but made with poor materials, simple and practical.

1957 was the year of the Azucena T10 Fasce Cromate created by Luigi Caccia Dominioni. This table has a black painted iron structure and a glass and chromed brass top.

This it is the first creation of chromed metal used in living room furniture. In the late 50s, the living room dining table also began to become simpler. Their lines become more important and are made of a single material and a single color. We are already moving towards changes in the 60s. Also explore the Art deco furniture.
