Entirely carved and sculpted walnut. The piece originates from a chest, later transformed into a seat by adding an open backrest with an upper crosspiece and pinnacle pillars with shell-shaped finials. The sculptural decoration is divided into three registers: a base with a continuous frieze of acanthus leaves, and a central body with a relief panel depicting two telamons flanking an unidentified coat of arms within an oval cartouche, set within a symmetrical composition of leafy scrolls and rosettes. The backrest features a large ribbed valve flanked by acanthus leaf brackets. The uprights are covered in scales. The seat is padded.

Condition report: Solid structure. Carvings in good condition.
