Description

Pierre Balmain (San Giovanni di Morgana 1914 – Paris 1982) known throughout the world for being one of the most important stylists and costume designers of the second half of the twentieth century. He founded the brand that bears his name in Paris in 1945, which is still one of the most internationally recognized luxury brands. Between the 60s and 80s, the most important French designers dedicated themselves to the production of interior furnishings as well as Christian Dior and Pierre Cardin, Balmain also designed its own line, but unlike the first two it did not focus on an entire range of products but rather to the production of furniture of the highest quality in terms of materials and finishes, this means that they are rarely present on the antiques market and consequently highly sought after. The sideboard that we offer is made of fine mahogany wood, inlaid with brass with a refined geometric pattern, the small round handles are also in brass, on one side of the furniture there is the brand of the maison. The piece of furniture is in excellent original condition both externally and internally. We issue a certificate of authenticity and by law we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
