Floral composition with a bouquet arranged in a vase decorated in relief with cherub figures, set on a stone surface. The botanical variety is wide—roses, tulips, dahlias—enlivened by butterflies and a nest with eggs in the right foreground. The composition draws on the tradition of 17th-century Flemish and Dutch still lifes, reinterpreted in a 19th-century style. The painting is signed "Agricola" at the lower left.
