The painting depicts the Virgin at the center of the composition, supporting the Child who is reaching out toward the figures on the sides. On the left, Saint George, partially armored, is identifiable; on the right, Saint Nicholas. The dark background and luminous treatment, with warm lights emerging from the shadows, reflect the Venetian pictorial tradition of the early 17th century, with influences from the Northern Italian figurative culture of the time. On the back of the panel, there is a later handwritten inscription bearing the name "Mastelletta," an ancient attribution to the Bolognese painter Giovanni Andrea Donducci (Bologna 1575–1655).

Condition report: Parquet panel. The painted surface is in good condition, with traces of old restorations and wear.
