Model: Office chairs / Manufacturer: Pizzi Arredamenti // Pure geometry, functional lines and uncompromising design: these two office chairs made by Pizzi Arredamenti between the 60s and 70s represent a beautiful example of Bauhaus style interpreted in an Italian key.
Pizzi Industries, a historic company from Borgosesia, in the province of Vercelli, has been able to translate the principles of German rationalism into concrete, solid furniture, designed to last. Specifically, these armchairs were designed for a meeting room, but over time they have found a new use: they come from the foyer lounge of a Piedmontese cinema, where they welcomed the audience before the start of the show.
Clean structure, balanced proportions and a discreet but decisive attitude: perfect in a study, in a minimal reading area, or as accent seats in modernist environments, these armchairs carry with them a double history - industrial and cultural - that makes them unique.
