The “Porcelaine Noire” model was designed in 1962 for the Rosenthal manufacture by the famous Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala, his works are present in the collections of the most important museums around the world from Tokyo to the MOMA in New York up to London, Munich and Stockholm only for name a few.
The contrast between black and white is refined, the gold decoration is elegant, which is carried over tone on tone in the black version and the very high quality of Rosenthal porcelain. The model has been out of production since 1990
