Antique Italian rustic trunk, dating back to the late 19th century. Crafted from solid fir wood, this trunk exudes a charming rustic charm, featuring a deep brown tone that adds a warm and inviting touch to any space.
The lid opens effortlessly to reveal a spacious compartment, ideal for storing items. A functional wooden rod holds the lid open, ensuring easy access to your belongings. On each side, sturdy iron handles ensure the convenience of lifting and moving the trunk as needed. The lock is intact, but the key is missing. The trunk features traditional antique mortise and tenon joints that emphasize its craftsmanship and historical importance.
This versatile trunk can be used for a multitude of purposes in any room of the house, infusing spaces with warmth and vintage character. We think it would be particularly suitable for a mountain or country home, where it can enhance the rustic charm of the environment.
Restored in our workshops with a conservative approach, this trunk retains the beautiful signs of its past life, while revitalizing the overall aesthetic. Price negotiable.
