A quarter-circle library ladder, composed of four triangular steps arranged radially around a central turned shaft, topped with a spherical knob. The structure, made entirely of turned and carved wood, rests on shaped legs joined by curved bands. The steps are covered in green leather with a fine gold trim, typical of 19th-century study and library furnishings. This piece served as a practical aid for consulting volumes on the higher shelves.

Condition report: Good condition, with traces of natural aging of the wood and slight wear to the leather upholstery, consistent with its age.
