Napoleon III French box in thuja root with gilded bronze elements.
The particular daisy shape is embellished by the presence of a central ivory plaque depicting a river landscape with figures.
A beautiful bronze trim surrounds the entire lid, while at the feet we find a series of bronze sculptures depicting historical figures.
The key and lock are original from the period.
