Antique French Napoleon III desk in fine exotic wood with finely chiseled gilded bronze application.
The top features an original period chiseled leather covering surrounded by a gilded bronze border.
The front is punctuated by three drawers embellished with gilded bronze leaf motif handles and vents.
The four corners are decorated with large bronze garnishes with a leaf motif typical of the period to which they belong.
The four feet have the classic cuvilinear shape and end with expertly chiseled gilded bronze socks.
The opposite face appears to be a mirror image of the main one.
The interiors appear to be in oak wood.
Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method.
