Ancient Neapolitan sculpture depicting the Heart of Jesus resting on a gilded and carved wooden base contemporary with the same.
The sculpture features, as per tradition, a polychrome terracotta head with crystal eyes and wooden hands and feet.
The head and the relative “pettiglia” (the initial part of the bust) are fixed to the tow mannequin with simple turns of string.
