Ancient Neoclassical sculpture in white statuary marble depicting Diana the Huntress/Artemis dating back to the 19th century.
In Roman mythology, Diana is the goddess of the hunt and the night, identified with Artemis in Greek mythology.
It is adorned with a tunic and a crescent-shaped halo.
The goddess is portrayed with a gathered hairstyle and wears classic draped clothes and stands on a circular marble pedestal.
