First half of the nineteenth century.
Height 73cm; Width 41 cm.
Very refined equestrian sculpture depicting Napoleon on horseback, from the first half of the nineteenth century and of French origin. Made of Biscuit Porcelain, with a cobalt blue porcelain base.
The work captures the tension of the moment with great dynamism and mastery: the horse raised on its hind legs conveys a sense of power and movement, while Napoleon confidently holds his sword and maintains a composed and noble pose. The finely crafted porcelain enhances every detail, from the folds of the uniform to the horse's harness.
